Community Singing

When we sing together, we’re weaving webs of connection through our voice. As elder Laurence Cole says, singing together is one of our most ancient “technologies of belonging”. When our voices unite to share a song together, it can bring a sense of coherence, understanding, and belonging into our bodies and hearts.

In song circles that I offer, I am also interested in exploring co-creative emergence. I'm curious about what can emerge when we gather as community and open up to listening to each other in present, heart-centered ways. I'm curious what can emerge when we allow the moment(s) to lead us. When we listen deeply into the presence of ourselves and each other, and see if we can hear what wants to be shared and tended, together. In other words, we arrive, share presence, listen together, and allow ourselves to be delighted by the magic that might unfold. Check out the calendar below, or the events page, to see when and where we’re singing next!
